CEROC is the largest Modern Jive organisation in the UK.

Modern Jive is a stylish partner dance which is a fusion of Jive, Salsa and Ballroom

• Complete beginners are welcome

• It's fun and very easy to learn the basics

• No need to bring a partner with you, but you can if you want to

• No previous dance experience required,  but its ok if you do

• Experienced, friendly dancers called Taxi dancers are available to help complete beginners and novices

• No need to pre-book. Just turn up a few minutes before the start and register

• No special clothing is required - sensible shoes please

• Licensed bar at most venues

• A wide variety of music

• An enjoyable way to keep fit

• All in all, a good value night out and a great way to meet new people

A Ceroc class evening will generally consist of:

• A 45 minute beginners class

• Followed by 10/15 minutes of freestyle dancing

• A 30 minute intermediate class

• A beginners practice session (venue permitting)

(which takes place whilst the intermediate class is running)

• Freestyle dancing for between one and two hours after the intermediate class

This is your chance to practice your dancing to a wide range of music and soak up the atmosphere, its addictive!
